She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Lafontaine; her children, Laurie Lafontaine and Lisa Chalifoux; and her grandchild Gord Evans. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Evans (Bill), Michael Lafontaine and Pam Lafontaine (Markus Fisher); and her grandchildren, Tanya Bourdon (Jason), Jennifer Desgroseillers, Patrick Fisher and Kelsey Fisher (Mark Noel). She is also survived by her 5 great grandchildren, her sisters and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
