He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter McFarlane and Peggy McFarlane; and his grandparents, Elizabeth Sharpe (Mumsie) and Graydens. He is survived by: his aunt Elizabeth McKechnie; his sister Elizabeth Hancock (Betty); his wife Judy (Schell); his sons, Scott (Erin) of North Bay and Ross of Windsor; and his grandchildren, Grayden McFarlane (North Bay) and Lauryn Ashley (Windsor).
Should expressions of sympathy be desired, Walter asked that they be made in the form of memorial contributions to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice in his name, as the hospice and its staff are truly a jewel within our community.
