He was predeceased by: his parents, David Burt and Irene Burt; his siblings, Alice Burke (Bernard) and Bob Burt; his mother-in-law Shirley Bolton (John); his sister-in-law Joy Sage (Jim); his niece Barbara Burke; and his nephew Jim Burke.
He is survived by: his significant other Cheryl Bolton; his children, Jonathon Burt of North Gower and Kathy Burt of Brockville; his siblings, Bernie Burt, Donald Burt (Louise), David Burt (Barb), Mary-Alice Murrin (Keith), Darrell Burt and Jake Burt (Linda Kaszuba); and his niece Patricia Burke. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
