She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Kazuo "Mike" Kawabata; her siblings, Nanao Kishimoto of St Thomas, Yukichi (Sachiko), Mitsuo, Seikichi (Tomoko), Saichiro (Haruko), Masao, Mutsuo, Haruye, Yoshiko, Fumiko Kishimoto and Yuriko Ohori (Toshio); her siblings-in-law, Sakaye Tsuji (Takashi) and Sally Hori (George); and her parent Yukichi Kishimoto. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the St Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation or the Toronto Buddhist Church and are much appreciated.
