He is survived by: his wife Harriet Margolis Bernstein; his stepchildren, Jerry, Karyn and Jill Rosenthal; his grandchildren, Jacob, Katie Furman, Jessica, Zack, Greg, Max Morgan, Noah, Sarah Zweig, Gideon, Solomon, Ezra Bernstein, Lauren, Sam Rosenthal, Ryan Rosenthal, Alex and Sabrina Notkin; and his sibling Sandie (David Bornstein).
