With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margo Engel (North York, Ontario), who passed away on June 30, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Engel; her daughters, Renee (Logan Jenkins) and Evelyn (Steve Stieber); and her grandchildren, Tamara, Jonathan, Deborah, Darren, Lee and Elizabeth.

“Baycrest Palliative Care will be eternally grateful to Margot for her years of service to the unit as a magnificent volunteer and comfort to the patients and their families. She was a fantastic "team player", giving of herself to anyone who was distressed and in pain. I remember situations where she would sit an entire night at a dying patient's bedside because the patient had no family. Margot saw joy in life in spite of her very many hardships. We will always feel her compassion and learn from”
