She was predeceased by: her son Amos Shields; and her brother Kemraj Ragnauth. She is survived by: her children, Sam Shields, Paul Shields and Mariah Tye (Sam); her grandchildren, Shenaia, Sasha and Brandyn; and her siblings, Joseph Ragnauth, Jacob Ragnauth, Hyacinth "Sento" Mootee, Lorraine Cabose, Maureen Maraj, Jerry Ragnauth, Corel Cabose and Loretta Blume. She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews, as well as their children, her grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
