He was predeceased by: his father Ray Alfred Smith. He is survived by: his mother Jean Smith; his wife Pat Smith; his grandchildren, Kaylie, Tye, Faith, Noele and Shane Jr. Rickey; and his siblings, Ralph (Deborah), Donnie (Lisa), Phillip (Jaime) and John Morrow (Janice). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
