He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Dougie (Gail), Kim (Jim), Heather (Jim) and Kristin; his grandchildren, Leah, Douglas John, Adam, Danielle, Alicia, Brittany, Kyle, Jaydin, Kyra, Olivia and Lily; his great grandchildren, Bryce, Carter, Shyannah, Jordon, McKenna, Kaydin, Mason, Lacey, Larson, Myah, Kendra and Noah; his great great grandchildren, Lola and Brook; and his siblings, Barbara, Lloyd and Bruce.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hendren Funeral Home - Norwood Chapel (36 Queen St, Norwood, ON K0L2V0). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 1:35 PM to 1:55 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
