He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruth Buchanan; his siblings, Clare (Rosemary), Anne, Evelynn and Audrey; his sons, Rick (Holly), Randy (Adrienne), Rob (Lori) and Ron (Janet); his grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Chad, Emily, Alexander, Nicolas, Eliza, Bryce and Abby; and his great grandchildren, Rylen, Rayna, Camden, Kolbie, Beckett, Lainey, Elliot, Lennon and Rosie.
