He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anna Salaniuk; his children, Michael Salaniuk, Tom Salaniuk (Arely Salaniuk) and Andrea Salaniuk (Matt Laurin); and his parents, Eugeniusz Salaniuk and Elżbieta Salaniuk. He was also cherished by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Glen Oaks Crestview Chapel (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8).
