She was predeceased by: her husband Heinz Walter Grubert. She is survived by: her children, Karin (Douglas) and Ralph; and her grandchild Christy.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Society would be appreciated by the family.

“Anita was loved by her friends… unfortunately we cannot say the same about her children and family. She had a hard life and survived many things. We appreciate how after 30 years of friendship her children did not even reach out to let us know she passed however this does not surprise as they were waiting for this day for many years… We pray Anita made it to a better place, and her hard suffering was not to long.
