It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Augustine Fernandes (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bastiao Fernandes and Rosalina Fernandes; and his siblings, Thomas (Feena), Anne (Simon), Ignatius (late Angela), Christine (Anthony), Michael (Angelique), Mary (Pete), Peter (Anika) and Philip (Simone).

He is survived by: his wife Ruby Fernandes; his daughters, Daphne (Lezlie), Lesley-Ann (Roger) and Melanie (Ronny); and his grandchildren, Camille, Adele, Liam, Dorinha, Daniel and Dorian.

The family appreciates your support during this difficult time and in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society.
