He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmelo Bonovento and Francesca Bonovento. He is survived by: his wife Grazziella Bonovento; his children, Franca Kotsopoulos (David), Linda Cottrell (Dave) and Carmelo Bonovento (Bozena); his grandchildren, Alexia (Elijah), Emily and Marcus; and his siblings, Rinaldo Bonovento and Liliana Blandino.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
