He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Errol Cuthwin James and Viscilsa Magnola James-Alexander; and his sister Judith Antoinette Leslie James. He is survived by: his significant other Debbie; his children, Shanice, Joshua, Hannah and Reese; his stepchildren, Joanna (Imran) and Athan; his grandchildren, Jonah, Justin and Jesiyah; his siblings, Charmaine Robotham (Garfield) and Malcolm James Jr. (Jodi); and his nieces and nephews, Hayden, Corey, Jevaun, Jevauno, Chevaughn, Kiera, Sereena, Taylor, Brittney, Amanda and Direem. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and many close friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maple Banquet Hall (1325 Eglinton Ave E, Mississauga, ON L4W4L9).
