She was predeceased by: her spouse Commodore Mujibur Rahman; her parents, Mohammed Mohibus Samad and Fatema Samad; and her siblings, Mohammed Habibus Samad and Nasreen Panni.

She is survived by: her children, Ahsan (Tania) and Naz (Peter); her grandchildren, Onjoli, Armaan, Satya and Leni-Mehsha; her pets, Sophie and Lily; her brothers, Mohammed Ishfaque, Ziaus and Yusuf Samad; her siblings-in-law, Shaheen, Farhana and Daud Khan Panni; her nieces and nephews, Nibras, Areba, Labiba, Uzma, Simeen, Uzair, Omair, Fazle, Farhan and Ezhaar; and her cousin Towhid Samad. She is also survived by many in-laws and friends.
