She is survived by: her husband George Markell; her children, Carol, Jim (Dianne), Colleen (Craig) and Paul (Jo); her grandchildren, Myriam (Adil), Charlayne, Dennis (Tina), Ryan (Jamie), Cory, Richard, Cindy (Danny), Andrew, Darryl (Justine), Carter (Pheonix), Kyle, Cailey (Brandon) and Zack (Hannah); and her great grandchildren, Dana, Nahel, Dylan, Cierra, Phenyx, Mya, Kenna, Quinn, Willow and Colter.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM at the Streetsville Public Cemetery (1786 Bristol Rd W, Mississauga, ON L5M1X9).
