He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Chouinard and Gene Chouinard of Campbell's Bay; his child Baby John; and his grandmother Vic. He is survived by: his wife Monica Guiry (Mona); his children, Mark (Robin), Jamie (late Maxine), Mary (Barry) and Rob (Tamara); his grandchildren, Brooke (Geoff), Brendan (Mandy), Max (Natalie), Anica (Aidan), Monica, Kit, John Emmett, Katherine and Ella; his great grandchildren, Elliott, Ivy, Mara and Jamie; and his pets, Boots, Chico, Laddie, Teddy and Riley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
