It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Eloi Benoit of Oakville, Ontario, who passed away on April 1, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Benoit and Leon Benoit; his spouse Irish (Josephine Keogh); his children, Bob (Kim), Gerry (Ann), Dean (Suzanne), Maureen (Nathan), Dennis (Anne) and Lori-Ann (late Tim); his siblings, Louis, Bernie, Leo and Gerrard; his grandchildren, Greg, Samantha, Lindsay, Caleb, Kelly, Tyler, Tara, Kyle, Hannah, Benjamin, Claire, Adam and Christine; and his great grandchildren, James, Jaxon, Jude Charles and Charlotte.

He is survived by: his siblings, Fred, Martha, John, Adele and Yvonne.

Respecting the current situation and pandemic building restrictions, a private funeral mass has been scheduled.

If so inclined, please make a donation in his honour to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

Since Charlie left "Bishops Gate" he would pop in to see us at our coffee mornings and we always looked forward to his Christmas visit. Of course the COVID stopped all that.
