He was predeceased by: his wife Janie; and his siblings, Bill and Daisy. He is survived by: his children, Leanne Zambito and Scott Whelan (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Giovanni, Adriano, Francesco Zambito, Xander and Mackenzie Whelan; his siblings, Mary Clark (Jim) and Dougie Whelan; his sister-in-law Patricia Ferguson; and his friend Charlie.
