We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2026, at the age of 88, Daniel Sobreira Da Costa in Oakville, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, José and Albina. He is survived by: his wife Maria Madalena; his children, Nela (Marco), Anabela (Giancarlo) and Suzy (Miguel); his brothers, António, Carlos, Manuel and Luciano; and his siblings-in-law, José (Georgina), Faustino (Emberlinda), Tony (Élia) and Lúcia (Arnaldo). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jerrett Funeral Homes (1141 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1B1). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Clare's Roman Catholic Church (1118 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E3M6). A burial will be held on Friday, February 13th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Prospect Cemetery (1450 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1C6).
