He was predeceased by: his daughter Debra. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Meghan (Kevin), Rachel (Anthony), Lauren (Joe), Trisha (Bob) and Michael; and his grandchild Poppy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Danny's honour may be made to Ian Anderson House, a hospice in Oakville where he spent his final days wrapped in warmth, compassion, and peacefulness.
