We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2026, at the age of 69, Darlene Bailey (Oakville, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chloris Lazenby and Franklin Lazenby; her son Jordan; her brother Glenn; and her parents-in-law, Rex and Carol Bailey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa (Grant) of Switzerland, Laura (Marc) of Toronto, Caitlin (Chris) of Maryland, Nicole (Bassel) of Dubai, Jaden (Leandro) of Ottawa and Sacha of Oakville; her sisters, Marlene (John) of Houston and Heather of Houston; her sister-in-law Judith (Peter) of St. Catharines; and her grandchildren, Justin, Josh, Ethan, Austin, Will, Ian, Mackenzie, Logan, Theresa, Arabella and Taylor. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to SickKids (https://www.sickkidsfoundation.com) are appreciated in honour of her lifelong care for children.
