It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Shamess (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Susan and Joseph Shamess; his children, David (Amanda), Darren (Jessica) and Ashley (Dan Patton); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Nathan, Jack and Andi; and his sisters, Mary (Luc), Jamial and Emileen (Yvon).

In lieu of flowers, David would have recommended contributions to Alzheimer Society of Canada.
