He was predeceased by: his parents, Janet McGarvey-Curzon and William McGarvey; and his siblings, Kenneth, Robert McGarvey, Ross Curzon and Janet Gibbs.

He is survived by: his siblings, Douglas McGarvey and Ann Corbett.
