She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald John O'Brien and Sarah Catherine McCulloch; her siblings, Donald (Rita Mae), Bernie (Ann), Alec and Hilda (late Mel); and her siblings-in-law, Carles (late Cliché), Pat (late Claire) and Charlie (late Shirley).

She is survived by: her husband John Matthew Duggan; her children, David (Caterina), Edward (Cateline), Brian (Marie) and Glennis (Robert); her grandchildren, Alessandra, Nicholas, Sydney and Alex; and her sisters, Isobel (late Billie) and Betty (late Frank).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or CAMH (Dementia Research) in memory of Bernice.
