It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elfriede Hanekamp (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elfriede Hanekamp to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Hanekamp; her children, Trevor and Nicole; her grandchildren, Kristoffer, Isaac and Madeline; and her great grandchild Alexandria.

A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mary Mother of God (2745 North Ridge Trail, Oakville, ON L6H 7A3). A reception was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
