He is survived by: his parents, David Lin and Lichu Lin; his sister Sherry Lin (John Thompson); his nieces, Madelyn and Zoe Thompson; his sister Karen Lin; and his pet Cash.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Emery's memory to the Toronto Humane Society, an organization that he felt strongly about.
