She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Andres Montalvo and Juana Montalvo; her siblings, Herminia and Andres Jr.; her spouse Cleto "Paquito" Amat; her children, Edwardo Elmer (Baby), Marciana Pamela (Romeo), Jean (Roden), Rowena (Chito), Dennis (Mado) and Arnold (Joy); and her grandchildren, Kaye, Aldrin, Maide, Jessica, Ryan, Alexa, Camille, Clea, Elijah, Benjamin and Gilliene.
