Evelyn Minerva Cook (nee Stewart)
March 20, 1936 – December 31, 2023
On December 31, 2023, Evelyn Minerva Cook (nee Stewart) of Oakville, Ontario died peacefully after a long battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Barry Cook for 64 years. Loving mother of Katherine, Janice (Jim), and Christopher (Jessica), and was Grandma to Matthew, Emily, Lydia, Elli, Kaitlyn, Jaden, Jesse, and Shawn.
Evelyn was involved in local social groups, enjoyed travelling, swimming, and walking daily along Bronte Harbour. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
She requested a celebration of life with only the family, so everyone is asked to remember her in their own way. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Carpenter Hospice in Burlington, Ontario would be most appreciated.
