With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Filippa Abbondanza (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Filippa Abbondanza to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her grandmother Filippa Abbondanza; her husband Donato; and her parents, Filippo Cifarelli and Vincenza Cifarelli. She is survived by: her daughter Nanci (Steven); her granddaughter Kristina (Pooria); and her in-laws, Giuseppe, Rita Cifarelli, Rosa and Nicola Continiso. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Glen Oaks Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H 7A8). A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8).
