He was predeceased by: his sister Bernice Rooke (George); his grandson Brian Steward; his brother Jack Allison; his mother Pauline Allison (Pollard); his stepmother Flossie Mae Allison (Smith); and his father Harry Allison.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Ann Allison (Knott); his daughters, Leslie Steward (Allison) and Julie Allison (Ray Little); his grandsons, Connor Starkey, Michael Starkey, Mathew Steward and Paul Steward; his siblings, Elaine Nadalin (Chike), David Smith (Rosalyn) and Dorothy Campbell (Ken); and his sister-in-law Esther Allison (Barnes). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial donations in memory of Frank can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
