“I first met Joe at the Gulf Clarkson Refinery where I discovered he had just started after being laid off for from Ford same as me. I worked with Joe in the Alkylation unit until 1984 when the both of us were shipped off to the canning plant as a big layoff and shutdown had just occurred. There we toiled until 1988 when once again the both of us decided to try our luck at the Petro-can refinery in Oakville. Just wanted to offer my condolences to Sue and the rest of Joe's family.
