She was predeceased by: her husband Brian; and her brother Dennis Maughan. She is survived by: her daughters, Heather Kress and Julie James (Chris); her grandchildren, Meghan and Thomas; her close friend Jasper; and her siblings, Holly Newton (Jim) and Evan McPherson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home (64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K1E1). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church (47 Reynolds St, Oakville, ON L6J3J9).
