It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Joseph Lloyd in Oakville, Ontario, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Herbert Joseph Lloyd to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter III and Mary Lloyd (Fritz). He is survived by: his children, Peter Lloyd (Karen West) and Melanie Lloyd-Lewis (Lovett Lewis); his grandchildren, Brody, Ryan Lewis, Logan and Jordan Lloyd; his siblings, Marlene Anderson (John Anderson), Karl, Carl (Myra), Barbara'Marlene' (John), Donna (Archie) and Bert; and his spouse JaneAnn Hart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Following his divorce from JaneAnn in 1986, Bert met Judith, 'Judy', Finch (Slater) on New Year's Eve, 1987 and they spent the next 34 years together, parting ways in January of 2022; like others, challenged by COVID-19 and subsequent health issues.

An ever present figure walking his Dachshund Gretchen (then Finnegan), for over a decade a dedicated volunteer board member serving the community, Bert was well known and regarded for his diligence, humour and friendship. For the past several years, Bert and David made going for Thursday oyster lunches a monthly habit, catching up on life events and plans.
