Ika Rupcic Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ika Rupcic (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on June 25, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jure, Ante (Anica), Kajica (Braco) and Franjka (Josip). She is survived by: her spouse Petar; her children, Zrinjka (Paul), Danny, Baba, Laura, Emily and William; and her siblings, Josip (Manda), Danica (Ivan) and Marinka (Veso). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home Inc. (64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K1E1). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Croatian Roman Catholic Church (2110 Trafalgar Rd, Oakville, ON L6H7H2). A graveside service was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A reception was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Holy Trinity Croatian Roman Catholic Church (2110 Trafalgar Rd, Oakville, ON L6H7H2).
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in her honour to Holy Trinity Croatian Parish, Oakville.
