It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Friel (Oakville, Ontario), born in Scotland, Ontario, who passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Friel and John Friel of Alexandria; and his siblings, Jim Friel (Rae) of London, England, Rita MacMillan (Archie) of Largs, Scotland and Eileen Matthews (Bruce) of Sydney, Australia..
He is survived by: his wife Rosalind; his son Vince (Flo); his grandchildren, Alexandra (Deepak), Amy (Shane), Catherine (Alex), Jane (Patrick), Tara and Tom (Sam); his great grandchildren, Ameela, Indus and Ronan; his brother-in-law Bruce; his daughter Michelle Hawthorn (Chris); his grandchildren, Sean and Charlotte; Rachel Ripley (late Peter) and Rosario Javier (Prim). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
