It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacoba Nieuwpoort of Oakville, Ontario, who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Pieter and Marijtje; her grandchildren, Leigh Anne (Blair), Jane (Peter), Lynn (Javier), Cathy, Michael (Shauna), Krissi (Jeff), Taunya and William (Meagan); and her great grandchildren, Jonas, Marijke, Ellie, Phoenix, Callum, Kelsey, Myles, Hailey, Brody, Cassy, Sawyer and Rhys. She was also cherished by grandkids and friends.

“Mom I fell in love with you the day I met you. We had a lot of laughs together. We loved going shopping together. We always enjoyed taking you to the Windsor casino and also the others close to us. Whenever you needed me I was there for you. I loved playing cards and being with the girls. I promised to be there for you whenever I could be. I loved staying overnight at the hospital with you and you telling me about your childhood. You last words to me were thank you and you said I was beautiful.”
