With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Sheedy (Oakville, Ontario), born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2026 at the age of 91. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Mary; his wife Catherine; and his siblings, Eleanor (Paul), Mike (Peggy) and Dan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila and Kathleen; and his grandchildren, Michael (Jenn), Jamie (John) and Jack (Alex).
