It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean McKay (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Jean departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jean may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jean leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Lawrence and Peter Lawrence; her friend Anna Cumiskey; and her siblings, Evelyn Pratt and Peter Lawrence.

She is survived by: her brothers, Jim and Ian Lawrence. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Toronto Humane Society in Jean's name.
