We announce the death of Jeanette Smith in Oakville, Ontario, who passed away on June 2, 2026, at the age of 83. Jeanette will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Tamya; and her sisters, Sonia and Rita. She is survived by: her children, Damian, Shelley, Rebecca, Anson and Craig; her grandchildren, Krysta, Dante, Aria and Lincoln; and her sister Norma. She is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Honouring Jeanette's final wishes, the family invites those who wish to do so to make a donation in her memory to the SickKids Foundation in support of pediatric cancer care and research.
