John Dunn Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2025, at the age of 89, John Dunn (Oakville, Ontario), born in Chatham, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Sandy; his daughters, Lynne (Colin Chappelle) and Lori (Shawn Hull); his grandson Michael; and his siblings, Byron, Tom, Gertie, Gerald and Jimmy. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews as well as his extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oakville Hospital Foundation in memory of John.
