He was predeceased by: his wife Hildegard Stelmacovich (Melnyk); his grandson David; and his brothers, Stephen, Bill and Alex.
He is survived by: his children, Andrew (Odette), Peter (Kim) and Christina (Francesco); his grandchildren, Victoria, Alexander and Nicholas; and his siblings, Terry and Doris.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church (300 River Oaks Blvd E, Oakville, ON L6H5T1). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Volodymyr's Cemetery (1280 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4H9).
