With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jonathan Yip (Oakville, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jonathan left this world on January 28, 2026 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Yip and Paul Yip. He is survived by: his wife Lesia Dorosh (Lucy); his stepson Matthew Dorosh (Alicia Dorosh); his former wife Brenda Kwai Hing Yip; his sons, Laurence Yip (Claire Shi) and Nathan Yip (Sharon Truong); his grandchildren, Kaylie Yip, Austin Yip and Kayden Yip; and his brothers, Park Yip, Steven Yip and David Yip. He is also survived by one nephew and three nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home Reception Lounge (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8).
