He was predeceased by: his wife Fiona; his parents, Peter and Mary; and his sister Carolyn. He is survived by: his sister Jane; his nieces, Nicole and Jorinde; his nephew Matthijs; and his sister-in-law Ellen (Harry).

Due to the current pandemic, the family will be having a private cremation ceremony.
