In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joy had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Matheson; and her children, David, Lindsay and Robert. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Clearview Christian Reformed Church (2300 Sheridan Garden Dr, Oakville, ON L6J7R2).
