“Dear Donna and Family, I am deeply saddened to hear this news. Kevin was my colleague for almost 20 years and in the early years of his career was my grade 5 teacher. I saved my writing journal (St. Charles Garnier, 1981) and one day, at Goetz, showed him all the comments he took the time to write in it those many years ago. We had a laugh together as we reminisced. As a grade 5 student, I remember walking with him in the schoolyard when he had yard duty. He always showed a genuine interest in the lives of his students. He used to ask about my dance activities(one of this things I was very passionate about) and even asked if he could buy a ticket for my dance recital. He was one of those teachers that you never forget. Kevin was a kind and gentle soul who put 100% into teaching, which for him was a vocation not just a career. He will be greatly missed and always remembered. I pray that his soul rest in peace and I pray for all his loved ones during this difficult time. My sincere condolences, Noelle Mouchbahani”

“To the Meagher family.....I am the Child and Youth Worker at Father Michael Goetz and had the pleasure to work with Kevin for many years. He was a wonderful compassionate teacher who always showed concern to those students who I work with. Students who had difficult personal problems. Kevin also taught my daughter here at Goetz many years ago. We are both extremely sad to hear of his sudden passing. Our prayers and thoughts to Donna and his family. He will be greatly missed.
