With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucia Esperanza Buitrago (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on February 22, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Germán Roa; her daughters, Adriana, Tatiana and Laura Roa; her sons-in-law, José Daniel Botero, Germán Morales and Juan Ricardo Sarmiento; her grandchildren, Santiago, Camilo Botero, Matías Morales, Lucía, Amalia and Mia Sarmiento-Roa; her parents, Raúl Buitrago and Luz Marina Rodriguez; her daughters, Luz Marina and Margarita Buitrago; and also Ligia Nohora.
