He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gil Soares and Angelina Soares; his wife Lucia; his children, Amy (Ennio), Julia (Fernando) and Alexander (Cynthia); his siblings, Rita (Joe), Manuel (Cecilia), Anna, Maria and Joe (Nella); and his siblings-in-law, Joe (Miriam), Nelia (John) and Mario (Jennifer). He was also cherished by his children, their spouses, and his grandchildren.
