He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Olivia Simas; his daughter Doris; and his parents, Alzira Noemia Furtado Simas and Francisco Avila Goulart. He is survived by: his children, Arlene (Neil), Carla (Scott), Arlett (Chris) and Robert; and his grandchildren, Tylan, Ryan and Jayden.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oakview Funeral Home (56 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K1C7). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery (1149 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4L8). A reception will be held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oakview Funeral Home (56 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K1C7).
